To mark its 29th anniversary, Barents hosted two memorable gatherings in Madrid and Panama City, reaffirming its commitment to excellence, team spirit, and global expansion.
In Madrid, the event was held at the iconic Ramses restaurant, where guests enjoyed an evening of celebration, recognition, and forward-looking vision. One of the most emotional moments was the tribute to John Harbor, a distinguished director of Barents, who announced his retirement after an exemplary career with the company. The evening also featured key strategic announcements: the expansion into new markets with Barents Surety in Italy and Barents Insurance in Bulgaria, both significant milestones in the company’s growth strategy.
In Panama City, collaborators, partners, and friends came together to commemorate this important milestone in Barents’ history. On this occasion, the words of CEO Gary Callaghan, Panama General Manager Marukel Higuero, and Group President Mr. Gerardo García highlighted the collective effort, shared vision, and ongoing commitment of the entire team throughout nearly three decades.
These gatherings reflect the spirit of Barents: a company that celebrates achievements by recognizing the people behind them, while continuing to confidently chart a path toward new horizons.
